Benefits of Membership

CLAWS membership is open to all entities based in the United States, including any industrial organization that was incorporated or formed under the laws of a U.S. state or territory and maintains a significant manufacturing presence in the U.S. CLAWS welcomes anyone committed to furthering technology related to wide-bandgap semiconductors and their uses in civilian or military applications.

ASSOCIATE
Associates leverage the Hub’s resources. Associate benefits include the following:
AFFILIATE
Affiliate members leverage the Hub’s resources while providing guidance on road mapping the future direction of the Hub’s capability. Affiliate benefits include the following:
PARTNER
Partner members help to establish the Hub’s capabilities while providing guidance on the future direction of the Hub’s resources. Partner benefits include the following:
  • Access to licensing CLAWS Hub Intellectual Property, as provided in the Bylaws
  • Access to Hub RDKs on a fee basis (fees as determined by the CLAWS Hub);
  • A position on the Membership Committee; and
  • 1 voting point for Membership Committee votes
  • Access to licensing CLAWS Hub Intellectual Property, as provided in the Bylaws
  • Access to Hub RDKs on a fee basis (fees as determined by the CLAWS Hub);
  • A position on the Membership Committee; and
  • 3 voting points for Membership Committee votes
  • Access to licensing CLAWS Hub Intellectual Property, as provided in the Bylaws;
  • Discounted IP rates for non-exclusive licensing;
  • Access to Hub RDKs on a fee basis (fees as determined by the CLAWS Hub);
  • A position on the Membership Committee;
  • 5 voting points for Membership Committee votes; and
  • Ability to embed personnel within the Hub*
  • CLAWS satellite laboratory/office availability*
*Subject to CLAWS Director approval

CLAWS also offers an Advisor/Observer membership level. Advisors/Observers gain access to the information generated by the Hub and provide valuable guidance.
