Depletion-mode GaN HEMTs are key building blocks in state of the art high speed devices and integrated circuits leveraged in high power wireless DOW systems. Critical DOW applications include satellite and terrestrial communications, radar, and sensing meaning that these technologies are commonly found in air, land, sea, and space installations  Dual-use applications mirror DOW with specific examples including commercial wireless technologies (5G, 6G, WiFi), satellite communications, commercial radar, and non-destructive testing, imaging, and sensing.  In these applications, GaN HEMTs continue to demonstrate improved SWaP over Si technologies due to their high power density, improved thermal performance, higher system efficiency, and radiation hardness.  CLAWS offers RDKs for active device technologies (HEMTs) and will offer RDKs for passive elements and full MMICs.
